UX/UI Designer at Saby

2020 — 2023

Saby is a leading Russian B2B SaaS platform used by 4M+ companies, delivering accounting, HR, and document workflows across the entire Russian market. Part of a $200M+ revenue private tech company. This was my first job — I joined as a Junior and left 3 years later leading a design team.

What I worked on

I started in the corporate messenger and the design system. For the messenger I designed voice and video messaging from scratch, and added event highlights to the news feed — a daily digest of what's happening across the company. I also designed a helpdesk web widget — an embeddable support tool that can be installed and configured on any website. In parallel I contributed to Saby's design system, one of the largest in Russian B2B SaaS, updating components for mobile and desktop.

After a year and a half I moved to Saby Rating, a restaurant discovery platform similar to TripAdvisor. I redesigned the reviews list with better filters — making it faster to find and act on specific feedback. I added analytics blocks to the main Saby dashboard and built a page constructor for custom "leave a review / tips" flows — both the builder for restaurant owners and the end experience for their customers. Here I also took on a lead role: reviewing work, distributing tasks across 3 designers, and ensuring quality before delivery.

Results

  1. Designed and shipped voice and video messaging to 4M+ companies.

  2. Built a helpdesk web widget from scratch — first version of what later became a core part of my work at PulseDesk.

  3. Built a page constructor end-to-end — from owner tool to customer experience.

  4. Took on a lead role without a formal title — owned quality and task distribution for a team of 3 designers.

  5. Joined as a Junior and left leading a team — in one of Russia's most complex product environments.
